Teachers’ Day 2016 Message From the Desk of the President
In acknowledging and endorsing the current celebration of Education Week 2016 and in particular, Teachers’ Day 2016, I would like to first point out that every Jamaican child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.

GSAT Message From the Desk of the President.
Dear School Leaders, Teachers, Parents and Students, The two days that you have been waiting for are finally here. The sitting of the GSAT. Unfortunately, the GSAT has turned out to be more than a mere assessment of the progress of our students, which was the original intent. Dear Colleagues, I hope that this letter finds you in good health in light of the widespread infliction of the Chikunguyana Virus (Chik-V) across Jamaica. Now is the time for everyone to rally around our schools and ensure that our children continue to receive the highest level of education that they deserve. This current school year September 2014 – 2015 is very special to us as JISA will be celebrating forty-five years as an umbrella body for private schools in Jamaica.
